Liz Oliver, Rethinking

When Liz got in touch she needed a logo for her new change management startup, Rethinking. Liz already had some ideas, so we met in my studio and she sketched out her thoughts. She wanted her logo to capture the essence of change and how it ebbs and flows like the tides.

I redrew Liz’s sketch in Adobe Illustrator, using colours and fonts to match her website, and together we hit on something we were both happy with. The result was a logo and colour scheme that could be applied across Liz’s website, stationery and PowerPoint templates.

The Change Equation

Liz had been busy writing a book called The Change Equation, a comprehensive work packed full of insights. The book deals with the psychological impact of change and contains practical exercises to help us work through anything life throws at us.

Liz sent me her finished manuscript in Word, which I proofread and formatted in Adobe InDesign. Then all we needed was a cover! Once again, Liz talked me through some ideas which I redrew in Adobe Illustrator. You can read the finished book here.

Love is Within

Liz’s cherished late partner, Roger Melhuish, once wrote a book called Love is Within. Liz was keen to bring Roger’s inspirational ideas to a wider audience but the full-colour book was expensive to print and only a handful of copies existed.

Liz supplied me with Roger’s original print pdf. Each page contained an inspirational message in full colour. I set up a 5in x 8in template in Adobe InDesign and set each message in black type on a pale grey heart, limiting the use of colour to the cover, which I created in Adobe Illustrator. You can find the finished book here.
